ChangeTap is an early-access product operated from the United States. This page explains what we collect on this website, why, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
- Early-access signup. If you join the list we store your email address, and optionally your company name, trade, your answer to the pricing question, and any comment you leave.
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this site: pages viewed, buttons tapped, how far you scroll, demo steps completed, and the text you type into the demo’s scope field. PostHog may record a replay of your session; form fields such as your email are masked in replays.
- Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel so Meta can tell us whether an ad led to a visit, a completed demo, or a signup. Meta receives standard browser information and its own cookie.
- Technical data. Browser type, device type, referring site, and campaign parameters in the link you arrived from. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit spam; we do not store the raw IP.
What we do not collect
The interactive demo’s job details, prices, names and any signature you draw stay in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers. The only things the demo sends us are the analytics events above and, if you answer the “want early access?” question, that answer plus anything you type into it. If you use the “Speak it” button, your browser’s own speech recogniser (Google’s on Chrome, Apple’s on Safari) turns your voice into text under that browser’s privacy policy; the audio never reaches us, and only the resulting text is measured as described above. We do not collect payment details; nothing on this site charges you.
How we use it
- To email you when ChangeTap launches or opens more early-access spots. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To decide what to build, based on what visitors do and say.
- To measure which ads work.
We do not sell your information and we do not share the signup list with anyone.
Where it lives
Data is stored with our providers in the United States: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (signup list), PostHog (analytics), and Meta (advertising measurement).
Retention and deletion
We keep signup information until the early-access program ends or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Analytics data is kept for up to 12 months. To see or delete what we hold about you, email support@changetap.app from the address you signed up with and we will confirm within 7 days.
Cookies
PostHog and Meta set cookies to recognise a returning browser. We do not show a cookie banner because this site is aimed at visitors in the United States; if you would rather not be measured, use your browser’s tracking protection or an ad blocker — the site works the same.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
